Mission
To promote competent and dynamic teachers who understand development issues in the ever changing global dispensation. To train student teachers to become professional teachers in both primary and secondary schools as well as developing skills in creative arts, problem solving, project management, entrepreneurship and in sustainable development.

Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences provides a wide ranging set of courses and modules which are intellectually rigorous, deeply engaging and highly stimulating, within the context of the College’s specific vision and ethos. The staff is highly competent, with a particular dedication to teaching and learning as a core value. The Faculty has three departments, which are department of Fine and Creative Arts, Department of Languages and Literature and Department of Social Sciences.
